Podcast Production with GarageBand
Bring an idea and a Mac and we'll turn it into a podcast! Learn the basics of podcasting and
enhance it with sound effects, jingles, professional editing and an optional video track. As time permits, we'll learn how to publish a podcast series using iWeb and Dot Mac.
Required: An iBook, PowerBook or MacBook with iLife '08 (GarageBandv4) or iLife '06 (GarageBand v3)
Optional: Digital photos which visually enhance the topic of your podcast

Bring an idea and a Windows laptop and we'll turn it into a podcast! Learn the basics of podcasting and enhance it with sound effects, jingles, professional editing and an optional video track.
Required: Laptop with Audacity software installed (can be downloaded for free!)
Using Blogs and Wikis in the Classroom
Come to learn about the powerful digital media tools of blogs and wikis in your classroom. We will look at examples that are currently being used in classrooms around the country and will also learn how to set our own sites up for student use.

Advanced Podcasting Mac
In this workshop we will take podcasting one step further. We will learn how to create a vodcast, an enhanced podcast, how to upload podcasts and make them an RSS feed.
Advanced Podcasting Windows
In this workshop we will take podcasting one step further. We will learn how to create a vodcast, an enhanced podcast, how to upload podcasts and make them an RSS feed. Participants will also learn how to create podcasts using Skype as well as how to broadcast other types of content.
Free Digital Media Tools for Classroom Use
We will spend the day working with tools available on the web. We will specifically look at all of the Google tools as well as Microsoft Photostory 3.
